Swindon is steeped in historical interest. STEAM – Museum of the Great Western Railway, set in a restored station, has old locomotives and train carriages, including Queen Victoria’s Royal Saloon from 1897. The Museum of Computing traces the history of computing and digital development. In the Old Town, Swindon Museum & Art Gallery is known for its 20th-century British art collection, plus displays of local fossils.

Amazing salon, excellent customer service and so friendly & professional and knowledgeable about all the products & treatments. The salon is so clean and tidy, highly recommended will be visiting again !!
I recently started using the tanning beds, the store is really clean and smells amazing. I was given lots of advice before using the beds. Staff are helpful and Friendly. Would recommend my friends to use. I am now on my 2nd bundle, so easy to pay for and book online.
This place is amazing! Always so clean and tidy! The staff are so helpful and never make you feel silly for asking questions. I have been going regularly before my holiday and I now feel so confident! Last session before I go is on Friday! Thank you so much to the whole team!
Could not have been happier as a first time customer using the tanning rooms west.Having never used a bed before I was completely clueless and Kira/Ciara (so sorry if I’ve spelt that wrong!) gave me all the information I needed and answered my endless questions with ease which filled me with confidence. She was very friendly and knowledgable.The facility was squeaky clean and I’ve already been back twice!
I am very impressed with the Tanning Rooms at West Swindon. I have now had 3 sessions and the outcome is awesome. The staff are always very polite, knowledgeableand very welcoming. The shop is very clean, smells good and a plesent place to visit, I also enjoy that you can pair your phone with the beds to listen to your own music 👌
The machines are good and the store is nice with a convenient location but one of the staff members should be sent on a customer service training.I normally book online but I run out of credits and wanted to top up so I popped in while I visited ASDA. Getting a space on the day wasn’t my priority. I walked in and instead of being asked how they can help. All she said in a rather rude manner, did you book? We are full. I am a customer after all who was prepared to spend £50 and I like to be treated with a bit more respect and welcomed regardless if you are full or not as you don’t know why I actually walked in. This seems to be the way she talks to people though because it was not the first time I felt close to writing a complaint about her manner.If I knew any other tanning shops in a convenient location, I would have spent that money elsewhere.There are some lovely staff members as well in this store that I have to mention and those deserve nice reviews but this particular person’s attitude is literally putting me off from even visiting Tanning Room West Swindon hence the 2 stars.Most of the time when she is on duty, I have to explain to her if I am using a cream, what it is called, when I put it on, how long ego I bought it (as it might be expired) etc and it feels I am being interviewed. I just want to have a peaceful sunbed without being policed and hassled. It is very obvious that creams can be purchased in store and if I want to buy one I will ask for it. I visited many tanning shops in the past in different cities but I never felt so pushed and questioned about the creams. Giving advice is one thing and being uncomfortably pushy is another.
Hands down the best tanning studio I have been to!!Nothing is too much - the girls on the desk are always so helpful, knowledgeable and respectful. They have made me feel much more confident with using the beds and products. I normally pop in on my lunch breaks and the team at the Tanning Room always brighten my day!Could not recommend them more!
I was over the moon with the service provided in the store today, especially with this being the first time ever using a sun bed!The young girl who served me, (unfortunately I cannot remember her name..sorry!), was so helpful and patient with me which made me feel more at ease with trying something new! She was knowledgeable, super friendly, and talked me through everything I needed to know!The facility was spotless, and I loved that the girl assured me every sun bed is cleaned down after every use.I will definitely be coming back again in the future!
I couldn’t recommend The Tanning Rooms enough. The beds are so comfortable and easy to use, play such relaxing music, I really enjoy my little 15 minutes of sunshine! The girls here are also such an asset to the shop, they are so polite, friendly and helpful and never make you feel silly if you don’t know a few things, perfect for a first timer. Always have such an enjoyable experience!
A very pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They demonstrate clearly how to use the sunbeds and are happy to answer any questions. The rooms are clean and modern and the beds themselves are comfortable with client controls.
Amazing tanning shop, staff are always really friendly and they keep the shop clean. I'm always given great advice on what creams to use and have great results every session. I've also had my nails done by Annie which are lovely ,she is very thorough with her work and always greets you with a smile. A big thank you to you all 😀
The Tanning Rooms is an amazing place to visit. So clean and smells lush. The staff are so helpful and welcoming.The beds are easy to use from standing to laying down. I wanna try the Red light therapy next. Easy online booking system so if your busy you know you will be able to book online and just turn up without having to wait. X x
This salon is always spotlessly clean and sun beds are cleaned after each use. The girls on the reception desk are always very pleasant and helpful and this makes the whole experience very relaxing.
So impressed with these sunbeds! I already have a really good base after just 3 and I am naturally so pale and have found with other tanning places I just do not get the same results. Also love the water mist feature on these beds!!

Called to book a spray tan, the girl was super friendly and qualified in the artistry of the application. I mentioned my previous experience with the West Swindon salon and she was super apologetic and ensured me that she will be in to carry out my tan for an event. She restored my faith! Thank you!
Used the sun beds twice at this salon, really good experience and staff members have excellent understanding. Explaining everything on the first tan was a breeze!Been getting my nails done for the last 3 months at both salons and the time I spend is delightful, great company and fully experienced staff once again!All times my nails have been beautiful and they just keep getting better and better!!Highly recommend either service!
