Contrast Recovery Therapy

General Terms & Membership

• All standard Tanning Room Terms & Conditions apply to Contrast Recovery Therapy sessions.
• Customers must be registered members of The Tanning Room as per our standard terms and conditions.

Age Restriction & ID Verification

• Contrast Recovery Therapy cannot be used by anyone under the age of 16.
• Valid photographic ID must be verified before use. No exceptions.

Session Packages & Expiry

• All session packages are non-transferable and non-refundable.
• Sessions may only be used by the customer who purchased the package.
• The 4-session and 8-session packages expire after 1 month from the date of purchase.
• Unused sessions cannot be transferred to a new package.
• Expiry dates cannot be extended for any reason.
• It is the customer's responsibility to make full use of their session package within the expiry period.
• By purchasing a package, the customer acknowledges and accepts these conditions.

Cancellation & Booking Policy

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will result in the session being forfeited as a no-show.
• We cannot guarantee exact appointment times due to cleaning and sanitisation requirements between customers, ice bath water changes, and the previous customer's session duration.
• Please allow a small buffer around your booking time.

Health & Medical Conditions

• Contrast Recovery Therapy is not suitable for pregnant women.
• Customers with heart conditions, blood pressure issues, or any other medical condition must consult a medical professional before using the facilities.
• If you are feeling unwell or suffering from any general illness, you are strongly advised not to use the facilities until you have fully recovered.
• It is the customer's responsibility to disclose any relevant medical conditions to staff before use.

Safety Guidelines

• Do not use on an empty stomach — ensure you have eaten before your session.
• Stay hydrated — ensure you have consumed adequate fluids before your session. Water is provided in the room.
• Towels are provided for your use during the session.
• Do not use after a sunbed session — Contrast Recovery Therapy cannot be used following UV tanning. Tanning lotions and products may transfer into the water, which is unhygienic, and your tanning results may also be negatively affected. However, sunbed use is permitted after completing a Contrast Recovery Therapy session.
• Remove all jewellery and watches before entering the ice bath to prevent damage and for hygiene purposes.
• Shower before use — this is a hygiene requirement for all customers.
• Do not consume alcohol or drugs before or during your session.
• No food or drink is permitted in the room, except the water provided.
• If you cannot swim, you acknowledge and accept the risk when using the ice bath.
• Customers must follow all guidance outlined in the room. Additional safety information and instructions are displayed within the therapy room.
• If at any point you feel unwell during your session, stop immediately and alert a member of staff.

Conduct & Room Rules

• It is strictly prohibited to use the room nude. Appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times.
• We do not supply swimwear — customers must bring their own.
• Use of mobile phones in the room is highly discouraged for your own safety, however it is not prohibited.
• No photography or filming of other customers is permitted.
• Staff reserve the right to enter the room at any point for safety and operational purposes.
• Any damage to equipment or the room caused by the customer may result in being permanently excluded from using the facilities, and any remaining sessions on their package will be forfeited.
• Any breach of these terms or The Tanning Room's general terms and conditions may also result in exclusion and forfeiture of remaining sessions.

Liability & Assumption of Risk

• Customers use the Contrast Recovery Therapy room entirely at their own risk.
• It is the customer's responsibility to follow all outlined guidance and safety instructions.
• The Tanning Room accepts no liability for any injury, illness, or adverse reaction resulting from the use of the facilities.
• By booking and attending a session, the customer confirms they have read, understood, and accepted all terms, conditions, and safety guidelines.
